Bemor® BMX Steel Handlebar

Bemor® BMX handlebars are made from a high-quality steel-based alloy with a double heat treatment. The tubes have variable thicknesses depending on the work area. Thus, the tubes are reinforced at the curves and refined at the areas subject to less tension.

Here are the different manufacturing steps:

• The tubes are forged.
• The tubes are stretched and then undergo a first heat treatment.
• The handlebars are bent by numerical control and then carefully welded by hand.
• A second heat treatment is carried out to harden the alloy and significantly increase its durability.
• The handlebars are then subjected to a black cataphoresis treatment.

Steel handlebars are more durable than aluminum handlebars and absorb vibrations more than carbon handlebars. They also offer better resistance to impacts and scratches.
