The Pulse® WCS v2 rims are rims made with so-called “High modulus” carbon. The “High modulus” quality means that the fiber is made up of 100% carbon atoms, i.e. without nitrogen residue. This type of fiber is also very light and with high tensile strength. The HTG255 Epoxy resin that we use is patented and designed to make connections with carbon atoms only. Thus, the product offers excellent fiber/resin junctions.
WCS versions undergo additional heat treatment with graphitization firing at over 3000°C. This temperature pushes the carbon atoms to take on a crystalline arrangement: graphene. This process provides tensile and compressive strength of approximately 20%.
All of the rims are handmade, great care is taken in the finishing. The white marking is under anti-UV varnish and is not likely to come off when washing the bike.
These rims are guaranteed to comply with ISO 4210 standards.

However, the wheels are not indestructible however, like any other high-end equipment, it is your duty to know your own limits and to ensure the maintenance of your wheels. Our wheels are guaranteed against all hidden defects and manufacturing defects that have escaped our attention. If you damage your equipment by using it inappropriately, or by damaging it following shock, caused by sharp objects, twisting, compression, falling, abnormal impact and other actions beyond the control of Pulse ®, the warranty cannot apply.
