Enduro ZERO Black Oxide Ceramic Bearing

Hybrid ceramic bearings are corrosion resistant and the balls are highly impact resistant. These bearings are noisier because they absorb less vibration due to the high hardness coefficient of the Si3N4 ceramic. They require great care during assembly and preload adjustment.

These bearings feature black oxide treated high carbon 52100 chrome alloy races, mated with grade 5 silicon nitride ceramic balls with a 90% fill of Kyodo Kushi premium grease. The Si3N4 ceramic balls reduce bearing wear and increase bearing life by eliminating steel-to-steel contact within the bearing. The black oxide/magnetite treatment of the races provides an additional level of corrosion resistance and extended performance. VV seals are the lightest contact design, allowing for the fastest rotating bearing, but not as protective against the elements as LLB or LLU seals.
